Ryan, I can appreciate this article on so many levels. I've been trying to address the issues of racism, the model minority myth, and intersectional identities with my mother, who has internalized many beliefs of both white culture and immigrant parents. It's such a challenge but I think it's one that's done out of love, like you said. Love for not only our own family members, but for humanity in it's whole. Thanks for sharing.
